Developing a process that can support in-vehicle firmware/software updates over the air while difficult, can help reduce customer support costs and provide a competitive advantage over other in-vehicle systems.  The delivery of updates and features must be secure, failsafe and verifiable, while providing access to reporting and important analytics to OEMs. The session will be relevant to business and technical leaders; software engineers & device makers who are involved in the automotive industry. The level of technical expertise will be beginner/ intermediate.  This presentation will feature companies involved with the creation & service delivery of SOTA/FOTA technology.  The problem being addressed: How OEMs can take advantage of an over-the-air update strategy in an OS environment and implement new features/ services beneficial to consumers and dealers.
